In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned in the Act, the work, duties and rights of the Member-Secretary under the general direction and control of the Vice President shall be as follows:-
(a) To carry out the daily administrative work of the Commission, (b) to prepare and submit proposals to the Committee on matters to be decided by the Committee, (c) to coordinate the implementation of the decisions made by the Commission and the Committee, (d) to manage the staff of the Commission and other managerial tasks or cause, (e) to carry out or cause the work related to the internal control system, good governance and accountability in the operation of the Commission, (f) to carry out the work related to the financial administration of the Commission, (g) to carry out the internal and final audit of the Commission and to carry out work related to the unjustified expenditure and expenditure support or to cause, (h) to perform work related to contract services of students who have studied on scholarship, (h) to implement instructions received from the Government of Nepal, (h) to perform other tasks delegated by the commission, committee and vice president.
